This startup is on a mission to help every American build a safety net and achieve financial resilience.

I contracted with Harmonic in their first year as they were figuring out the right offering for their consumers. The initial approach was to build trust by giving away a complimentary $10,000 insurance policy. This policy would then be an invitation to learn more about other insurance products that might benefit the user.

Onboarding

We went through a half dozen interactions of the initial offering, constantly testing and tweaking it to improve the communication of the initial product offering.

Key takeaways were:

  • People don’t want to fill out long forms.
  • People don’t want to give up their social security number to an unknown company.
  • People know nothing is for free.

Dashboard

Upon giving away the free policy, we directed the user to a dashboard where they could see a sample of what makes up a Safety Net.

Admin Tool

The last piece I worked on before going full time at Point72 was their admin tool to help manage customers and claims.
